The award winning Mighty Oak Chorus was formed 25 years ago in Visalia with members coming from cities throughout Tulare and Kings Counties. We are a community class of the Visalia Unified Adult School. The chorus benefits from membership & affiliation with the 40,000 member International Society for the Preservation and Encouragement of Barbershop Quartet Singing in America.
The chorus and our various quartets sing a wide range of songs from vaudeville hits of the 1870's through the 1930's.. to great Broadway musical songs of the 1930's to 1970's..and even a few contemporary songs which can be adapted to four-part harmony.
